Beca's Geospatial team has a reputation for providing accurate, high quality land information services and have undertaken a body of project work for a diverse set of clients in New Zealand, South Pacific, Micronesia and South East Asia.
We have three core capabilities, Surveying, GIS and Digital Mapping. Typical geospatial projects involve collecting or organising geospatial data, presenting this data in the required format (be it hardcopy and/or digital), analysing, sometimes modelling, and where required, using it for infrastructure design purposes.
Our survey skills cover all aspects from offering international geodetic advice to small-scale topographical surveys using modern GPS, conventional surveying and scanning technologies. Clients use our GIS services to analyse, model, map and visualise spatial data for a multitude of purposes. Our digital mapping team carries out all aspects of photogrammetric mapping, orthophotography, digital terrain model building and visualisation. We also specialise in providing digital spatial information for infrastructure design purposes.
Geography is no barrier to the projects we undertake. Beca's Geospatial team work throughout New Zealand and regularly on international projects.
